What are you thankful for? Think about it. We should think about what we are thankful for before we go right to what we want and think we need for Christmas. Live in the thanksgiving spirit daily. I am thankful for my family, food and clean water, my house, all the 'things' that i have, my clothes and shoes, weather, my mom, my parents, the church, good friends, the good examples around me, nice people, the saviors sacrifice, school (even though it sucks sometimes), and so much more! Chocolate n' Friends

I am greatful for chocolate and friends!!!
Without chocolate...well come on, no one can live without chocolate, (Yes, even the people who say they don't like chocolate.)

And friends? I couldn't survive without my friends! They keep me sane!!! They tell me when my hair is out of place, they tell me when i should just be quiet, they tell me when i look cute, but best of all they listen!!!

Red Ribbon Week

It's Red Ribbon Week at Maeser and today was Scarf/Tie day. There were lots of pink ties, and crazy cute scarves! I wore (if thats how you spell it) a red and orange scarf...not near as cute as some of the ones i saw. Well tomorrow is Sock Day and i don't know wich socks to wear. Here are my options.

Cute eh?! I think i will wear the zebra ones...they are my favorite. Wendsday is backwards day; Thursday is Uniform day; and Friday? No idea!!! Well at least we i know most of the week!

Thankful

Today at church, in young womens, we talked about living thanksgiving daily. The lesson was about being thankful for what we have. The sisters that taught were Sister Leedom and Sister Lowe. Sister Leedom shared a really cute story about a man who never forgot what he was thankful for. It was super sweet. Sister Lowe said something that i thought was so true. She said that in this day in age, we are constantly thinking about what we want and what we 'need' to have. But she said that we need to be more thankful for what we do have. That hit me because i had a melt down the other day about how i needed more money and how i need more stuff and how everyone has more than me, and i just realized that i have so much and if i would just thank the Lord for what i have, i would be much happier! I loved this lesson and i enjoyed it a ton. There was a quote on the table in class that said, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, but to learn how to dance in the rain." I love that quotation and i am going to live by it. We also got hand outs that were these cute little journals that we are going to write in and write what we are thankful for. I have allready filled up an entire page!  

I just think that if every one is a little more thankful for what we all have, that we will all be happier people. I appriciate sister Leedom and sister Lowe for preparing such a good lesson that i really needed. I am thankful for good church leaders today. (And everyday of course) :)

Waterfall

Today I hiked up to a near by waterfall close to my house with some of my cousins and my brother Josh. It was super fun. We found a fox cave, frozen waterfalls, carvings in trees, and much more. But my favorite part was the frozen icicles all over the trail. The icicles were as big as a person and super long and pointy! It was really fun to see my cousins and my brother get so excited to find something new and to see the waterfall. When we finally arrived at the waterfall we ate our lunch and ran around. While we were up there, two of the boys had to take a pee, so they went in a tree. We then headed back down to civilization. I had fun and i think they did too. Once we got home the cousins played at our house and we watched some T.V. to warm us up. The cousins left after awhile and then everyone went about there day, but the hike was a blast, even though it was super cold!!! Today i am super thankful for the Heater and for hot chocolate!!!
